GVA 10000
GVA 10 000 is the latest Deepwater Drilling Unit in the GVA series. It is a 6:th generation Dynamically Positioned unit capable of drilling in ultra deep waters in harsh conditions. The unit is designed to comply with rules and regulations world wide including Norwegian part of the Northern North Sea.
The unit has a deck and column payload in operation of 10 000 tons which allows optimal drilling conditions at 3 600m and down to
12 000m drilling depth.
GVA 10 000 offers a large drilling flexibility and can be equipped with single or double derrick. The riser handling system has been optimized to reduce riser handling time considerably. Maximum 90 ft risers can be accommodated.
The GVA 10 000 is designed for safe, environmentally friendly and efficient drilling operations as well as comfortable accommodation of 160 persons.
